  • A drill with a 1/4 inch drill bit

That is really it. The entire mechanism uses only the string and the dowel to create a lifting action. No springs, no metal rods, no complicated hardware. This is what makes it so beginner friendly and cheap.

Understanding the Simple Mechanism (Redstone Like)
